Getting Started with CMRRA Direct
CMRRA Direct is our secure client portal, designed to give you easy access to the information and tools you need to help you stay informed.
Through CMRRA Direct, you can view details of your registered works, mechanical licences (if applicable), access your royalty statements and summaries, and explore our Unclaimed Works Portal, all from a single, centralized platform.
Creating Your Account
To get started, you’ll need to register for a CMRRA Direct account, as access is not automatic. Once your request is submitted, please allow 2–5 business days for processing. You’ll receive a confirmation email as soon as your account has been activated. Note that if you are affiliating with CMRRA as a new client, you will need to complete that step first before your CMRRA Direct account can be set up.

What You Can Do in CMRRA Direct
Whether you’re a new or existing client, CMRRA Direct provides a range of tools to help you stay informed.
- Search our database to view your submitted musical work registrations
- Register priority works via our single song registration tool
- Review mechanical licence details for physical releases related to your works
- Access your royalty statements and summaries
- Download reports of:
- Physical mechanical licences
- Musical works in dispute
- Stay up to date with important royalty distribution communications
- Access CMRRA’s Unclaimed Works Portals to review lists of unmatched and unlicensed/unclaimed recordings and works, and submit claims online:
- Online Music Services
- Major Labels (CSI claims site operated by CMRRA)
