Attention CMRRA clients! Does CMRRA have your most up-to-date publishing catalogue on file? If works are actively being added to your catalogue(s) and it has been a while since you last provided us with an update, it may be time to reconnect! Having an updated catalogue on file ensures that we are able to identify uses of your works quickly and then issue licenses and collect royalties on your behalf.
CMRRA is able to accept catalogue information in a number of ways. Clients are able to register works by using our song registration form or by registering individual works through the new CMRRA Direct portal. Further to our post last May, CMRRA’s new Licence and Distribution System (LDS) will be able to load CWR (Common Works Registration) files directly. Another CWR enhancement is the ability to ingest the ISWC and ISRC information provided in CWR files, resulting in more robust work matching. We will be sure to provide an update shortly.
