CMRRA has launched a new, more robust Repertoire Search to replace our Legacy Song Database and Affiliated Publishers List. This search is powered by CMRRA Direct and gives users a number of search parameter options: Work Title, Work Number, Performing Artist Name, Author/Composer/Publisher Name, and CAE/IPI Number. Users may search using one or more fields and are able to choose from three filters to broaden or narrow the search: Exact Match, Fuzzy, and Begins With. When users view a repertoire work yielded as a search result, they will be able to see information such as available author/composer details, publisher details, and the CMRRA total claim percentage. This will provide users with relevant information for mechanical licensing applications.
A CMRRA Direct account is not needed to use the Repertoire Search. It can be accessed by hovering the mouse over “Repertoire” on the menu banner at the top of the website and clicking “Search Our Song Database”. The user will be directed to our Web Site Policy, and upon clicking “I agree and accept CMRRA’s Database Terms of Use” will be taken to the Repertoire Search.
