On September 22, Re:Sound held its fourth annual fundraiser concert at Revival Bar in Toronto. CMRRA’s band, Royality Cheque, rocked the place by performing tunes from the 90’s while Re:Sound, SOCAN and Music Canada covered other decades at the “Re:wind Pop Throught The Ages” themed event. Staff from these music industry organizations were not only given an opportunity to showcase their talent outside of the office but also to show their love for the music industry and support a good cause. CMRRA is proud to have been part of this event that raised over $20,000 for the Unison Benevolent Fund, a non-profit organisation that provide emergency relief services to members of the Canadian music community in times of personal or professional crisis. We encourage all members of the industry to also show their support by registering with Unison and getting involved with them.
A big thank you to Re:Sound for putting together the event and inviting us to participate.
Congratulations to the members of Royality Cheque who made CMRRA sound and look so good:
