► How do I access the Work, Licence and Royalty Statement Details related to Registered Accounts under the My Home page?
Administrator Type Users/PUBLISHER ADMINISTRATORS WITH MULTIPLE PAYEE ACCOUNTS:
Primary Account
When you register as an administrator with multiple payee accounts, CMRRA will assist you in identifying your Primary Account. This is the account that links together your related catalogues and under which all Works and Licences can be viewed. When you sign in and reach the My Home page, ensure that you select the Primary Account in the User Details section, and hit the Save button to set your selection, in order to proceed with viewing all of your Works and Licences. The other accounts which you have registered (and that will be displayed along with your Primary Account) should be those accounts which you have designated to CMRRA specifically as Payee accounts, i.e. accounts to which payment is issued.
Payee Accounts and Royalty Statements
IMPORTANT: Royalty Statements are directly linked to each of your Payee accounts; therefore, it is necessary for you to select the relevant Payee account in order to access any associated royalty statements (ensure that you Save your selection whenever changing the account setting on the My Home page).
If you return to viewing Works and Licences after accessing royalty statements, please ensure that you reset your account selection back to your Primary Account. If you do not follow this step, then any work or licence information that is returned by your search will be limited only to reflect the data associated with the selected Payee account.
If you have additional Payee accounts that you wish to add to your CMRRA Direct profile that you did not include upon registration, you can do this in the Add More CMRRA Publisher Accounts grid on the My Home page. Please note, however, that new accounts must first be set up with our Membership Services department in order for CMRRA Direct access to become available. Once new account setup is complete and has been confirmed to you, these can then be added to your profile using the above noted Add More CMRRA Publisher Accounts feature.
Administrator Type Users/NON-PUBLISHERS WITH MULTIPLE UNRELATED ACCOUNTS (Law Firms, Management Companies, etc):
As a non-publisher managing multiple unrelated accounts, you can register for access to CMRRA Direct for each account that you control by using the Administrator option and providing the individual account details in the grid that appears on screen. When you sign in and reach the My Home page, you will be required in the User Details section to select the account for which you wish to register/view works and licences, or obtain royalty statement details. Please remember that you must hit the Save button any time that you make or change your selection in order for your searches to return the appropriate results. If you fail to hit the Save button, the account that you had previously selected will be maintained and applied to any new searches that you perform.
Please note that in order to ensure secure access for authorized users, the work, licence and royalty details for unrelated accounts cannot be searched concurrently; as a result, only details related to the currently selected account will be available in any of the search results or work registration area.
Publisher Type Users/PUBLISHERS WITH A SINGLE PAYEE ACCOUNT:
Registering for access to CMRRA Direct under a single account will provide you with access to all details related to Works view and registration, Licences and Royalty Statements.
► How Do I Find My CMRRA Account Number(s)?
Administrator User Type (Publisher Administrator with Multiple Payee accounts and Non-Publisher with Multiple Unrelated Accounts, e.g. Law Firms, Management Companies, etc.): The Company Name should be the name of the Administrator. Your CMRRA Publisher Account Number and Account Name is the CMRRA Payee Account Number and Name of the Publisher Accounts you administer that currently receive their own Royalty Payments (via direct deposit or cheque). These Account Numbers and Names can be located on any CMRRA royalty summary issued to you in the past. Please refer to the field "Pay To" for this information. If you've not yet received a CMRRA royalty payment, please contact CMRRA Membership Services to obtain your Account Number (s) and Name (s).
Publisher User Type (Publisher with a single Payee Account): Your CMRRA Publisher Account Number and Name can be located on any CMRRA royalty summary and/or statement that may have been issued to you in the past. Please refer to the field "Pay To" on your royalty summary report or "Publisher #/CMRRA #" on your statements for this information. If you've not yet received a CMRRA royalty statement, please contact CMRRA Membership Services to obtain your CMRRA Publisher Account Number and Name.
Licensee User Type (Record Label): Your CMRRA Licensee Account Number is also known as your CMRRA Manufacturer Number. You would have been provided your CMRRA Licensee Account Number at the time you signed the MLA. If you have received paper licences, it can be found at the top of each licence, to the right of your address. If you've not yet received a licence, please contact CMRRA's Independent Licensing Department to obtain your Licensee Account Number/CMRRA Manufacturer Number.
